Contemporary Classic & Lively
Here’s your source for a bit of that mid-century Nordic magic, along with a healthy dose of the Art Deco history that’s a Helsinki design trademark. As a part of the Kämp Collection family, Hotel Fabian is sister to Klaus K, Lilla Roberts, and the Hotel Kämp itself, and within its walls you’ll find, essentially, more of the same — which, in this case, is more of a good thing.
That means modern comforts, contemporary style, and while its rooms may top out at the “Lux” category, omitting the lavish suites of others in the family, for most of us Lux is more than luxe enough — these spacious rooms come with kitchenettes, coffee machines, refrigerators, and tea sets, just the sort of thing that has local apartment-share hosts nervously upgrading their offerings.
A daily breakfast service and a charming little lobby bar are the extent of the services — this is more pied-à-terre than glam hideaway, frankly, though the city-center location means you’re hardly without options. Helsinki is a more compact city than you might think, and from here most anything you’d need is easily accessible by foot.

Terrific location- a quick stroll down to the waterfront and accessing the Esplanade. Public spaces are small but the room quite large. Bath as well. Blackout curtains were there for the long daylight.
