Four Columns Inn & Restaurant
Naturally, that wasn’t the end of the story, or you wouldn’t be here reading this. The Four Columns Inn is back in business, and after a thorough renovation, it’s returned to its roots. The guest rooms are looking fresh and contemporary, but without sacrificing any of the rustic coziness that made their name in the first place. And while the Inn is far from ostentatious, there are subtle luxuries throughout, from the Bulgari bath products in the bathrooms to the French linens on the pillow-top beds.
Newly added is a cozy little spa, hidden away in a small house on the property. And back in fighting form is the restaurant, now called Artisan Restaurant, Tavern & Garden, a return to the original Four Columns farm-to-table philosophy.

Four Columns is a beautiful little spot on a classic New England village green with lovingly-restored rooms and a surprisingly-solid restaurant. About 30 mins to both Mt Snow and Stratton, this was the perfect home base for our long weekend of skiing (and the solid beer list, jacuzzi tub, and gas fireplace in our room certainly made for a pleasant recovery). A lovely and very quiet little oasis.

Wonderful restaurant; delicious and generous breakfast; charming and well-equipped rooms; beautiful village; convenient to ski areas
