86 Cannon Charleston
The rooms themselves differ in layout and details, though all are richly detailed and impressively plush, from the Loft King under the eaves of the old house to the Cottage Suite in the adjoining building. There’s no restaurant on site, but nor is there any shortage of food and drink — guests arrive to a champagne toast, there’s a daily happy hour featuring wine and cheese, and locally sourced breakfast items and snacks are available in the café and library.
Meanwhile the rest of the town is chock full of restaurants, bars, and other attractions — the neighborhood is close to the city center, and the fleet of loaner bikes make the city’s sights (and flavors) eminently accessible. (There’s also a daily wine-and-cheese hour, and a thoughtful breakfast is served in the house’s café.)
