Glamping is all the rage around Guatapé, a colorful Colombian village on the shores of the turquoise Peñol-Guatapé Reservoir, and BOSKO stands out as one of the most exclusive options. This boutique hotel is made up of just ten rooms, referred to as “mushrooms” — each one housed in a sustainably built, dome-shaped cabin tucked into lush native forest high above the water. Inside, they’re simple but elegant, meant to blend into the surrounding landscape, with transparent walls, king-sized canopy beds, open-air showers, and private decks, some with hot tubs or plunge pools. A series of infinity pools overlooks the lake below, and they’re heated to higher temperatures at night, making them perfect for stargazing.
