It’s set not far off the main axis of central Copenhagen, on a quiet street lined with lovely townhouses, surrounded by cafés, shops, and galleries. And inside it’s a beautiful blend of two of the Danish capital’s most appealing modes: the bohemian warmth supplied by the well-aged building, and the eye-catching modernity of 20th-century interior design.
The public spaces, firstly, partake of lofty ceilings and generous windows to admit floods of natural light, unusually welcome around these parts; combined with a general taste for reclaimed wood, Edison bulbs, and exposed brick, it’s urban chic exemplified, if at times reminiscent of a photography studio.
