Skip the sandwiches, if you’re feeling adventurous, and go for something authentic to Chile — camarones al pil pil (fresh shrimp sauteed with garlic, white wine, cilantro and chili pepper) with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc made in the nearby wine country. Make it a whole bottle; there’s hardly a sweeter place to enjoy it in Santiago. When you’re finished, venture into the side streets of Lastarria, lined with art galleries, cocktail bars, and boutiques.
