Under Canvas Acadia
Die Mahlzeiten sind lokal bezogen und sorgfältig zubereitet, mit Aktivitäten, die sich auf Abenteuer konzentrieren, nur eine halbe Stunde vom Acadia-Nationalpark entfernt. Das Camp fördert das gesellige Beisammensein mit Feuerstellen für S’mores, Live-Akkustikmusik und Getränken für Erwachsene. Das Erlebnis ist immersiv und bietet mehr Komfort als herkömmliche Hotels und mehr Annehmlichkeiten als typische Campingplätze.
Hinweis: Under Canvas Acadia ist saisonal von Mitte Mai bis Ende September geöffnet.

I liked that it was all of the fun things about camping - the tent, the cool outside and cozy (inside) evenings, the wood fires (outside near the lodge and in the wood burning stove inside the tent) - but without the less pleasant aspects of sleeping on the ground or having either an outhouse or just the woods for a bathroom. The bed was really comfortable and loaded with blankets, and I can't remember the last time I slept so well. The cabin was clean and cozy, and the shower - although simple, with on-demand water - was warm and quite nice.
