Casinha Velha occupies a charming two-storey house with a rustic decor and homely ambience where tradition and high-quality ingredients are key tenets. Starters include a platter of cheeses and Iberian black pork sausages, accompanied by a basket of different types of home-baked bread. These are followed by signature mains that include cod with cream and shrimp and “duck rice” with dried fruits, followed by an assortment of “convent”-style desserts and pastries – all prepared with great dedication and panache!
