The Alpina Gstaad dates back only to 2012, though its classic Alpine façade could pass for fifty or a hundred years older. What’s inside, however, is the very picture of the modern mountain luxury hotel, in a style that’s roughly equal parts crisp contemporary cool and chalet-style Swiss coziness. The accommodations range from lavish to ultra-luxe, and among the in-house attractions are a Six Senses spa and a MICHELIN-Starred restaurant, Sommet by Martin Göschel.
