A large wooden chalet with carved wooden balconies: under a blanket of snow it makes for a delightful cliché. The open fire crackles, the decor is warm and homely, children can entertain themselves in ‘their’ den (games, TV etc) and parents can indulge in the spa. The words ‘Alps’ and ‘haven’ go together extremely well.
