An architect converted her embroidery workshop in Gjirokastër's old bazaar into five individually designed suites, each different in layout and detail. The property sits minutes from the Ottoman castle and Skenduli House, with views across the stone city or mountains. Handcrafted ceilings, glass floor panels in one suite, and contemporary fixtures against traditional walls show the design focus. Breakfast comes from the cafe downstairs. It's a small operation with no front desk, just pre-arranged check-ins and well-considered rooms.
