Situated in the luxurious Villa Abbazia hotel, this splendid restaurant boasts a fireplace, frescoes and period decor, as well as an elegant outdoor space for summer dining. Both provide the perfect backdrop for the cuisine prepared by Giuseppe Francica, a young chef who practically grew up in the kitchen here. Served on vegetarian and tasting menus from which dishes can also be chosen individually à la carte style, this chef’s fresh and colourful dishes are made using herbs and vegetables from the property’s own kitchen garden, plus ingredients sourced from trusted local producers. The excellent wine list is particularly strong on Riesling labels. A perfect all-round evening dining experience, with the option of a bistro for more informal meals at lunchtime.
