Be careful not to drive right past this rather unassuming-looking corner-plot building, as it would be a shame to miss this restaurant. Its cosy charm is irresistible, from the creaking wooden floor to the red-and-white check upholstery. The women's cooperative at the helm delivers wonderful traditional dishes based entirely on home cooking. You can watch them in their small kitchen as they prepare manti with local cheese and top it with tomato sauce, or shaping meatballs and cooking them in a rich tomato jus. The menu is concise, and it's wise to arrive early to avoid disappointment, but the reward is a heartwarming experience that offers an authentic taste of Cappadocia.
