Samabe isn’t small, but it’s not especially large either: the resort contains 39 suites, seven penthouse villas and 35 freestanding villas. Then again, you can’t really have many more rooms than that when you’re offering this level of personalized service: a butler whisks away your bags, anticipates your thirst for fresh-squeezed juice, arranges afternoon tea or an early-evening happy hour on your terrace, should you desire, and stays at your beck and call even in the middle of the night.
