Everything is traditional, big-boned and wholesome from the homemade shrimp fritters and cod cooked in butter with a fresh tartar sauce and piping hot fries to the velvety custard tart, with which the chef celebrates her Portuguese roots: such are the delicacies conjured up by Teresa Alves for her diners. An authentic Brussels’ bistro steeped in vintage nostalgia to the delight of a mixed crowd of regulars. A classic seafood restaurant in which time seems to have stood still.
