Family-owned since 1723, this Mallorcan farmhouse was the island’s first country hotel, and over the past few decades has been restored and reimagined for an increasingly savvy traveling public. Today Finca Ca N’Aí Bio Retreat is a proper country-house boutique hotel, one surrounded by orange groves, the Sóller valley, and the Tramuntana mountains. The buildings’ stone walls and timbered ceilings remain intact, lending historical gravity to the contemporary-classic suites. And though it feels delightfully secluded, it’s set within comfortable walking distance of both the village of Sóller and the harbor at Port de Sóller.
