The island of Cavallo was uninhabited for thousands of years — and while that’s no longer the case, guests at the 50-room Hotel & Spa des Pecheurs might wonder, as they wander down to the hotel’s private beach (the only one on the island, a protected marine reserve, equipped with sun loungers and bar service) or take a dip in the picturesque pool. Rooms dressed in blue and beige, with remarkable views of the Lavezzi archipelago, ensure that you’ll never lose that seaside feeling. In fact, even the spa overlooks the nearby bay.
