MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View
Guests will feel very much at home in this comfortable and warmly decorated house dating back to the mid-1800s. French chef Patrick Gazeau, who works on his own in the kitchen, is a true culinary artisan who does everything himself. Well supported by local producers (as an example, his son, a breeder and cheese-maker, supplies him with some of his cheeses) and a variety of plants from the meadows of the Vaud, he creates classic cuisine that is both colourful and bold. In the dining room, his wife provides the perfect foil for her talented husband.
