A wonderful family-run restaurant, now with two dedicated brothers from the next generation at the helm. Clemens Gesser is in charge of the kitchen and serves up ambitious regional cuisine made exclusively with ingredients sourced from the surrounding area. A surprise menu is the sole proposal – diners can choose to have between four and seven courses. Meticulously crafted dishes such as smoked salmon trout tartare with buttermilk and herb oil, or flavoursome pumpkin ravioli with milk foam showcase the chef's skill. Up to eight diners share one large table positioned right next to the kitchen and are served by a friendly, highly competent team led by Markus Gesser. The restaurant is part of the family's small hotel, which caters to holidaymakers with its well-kept guestrooms and excellent half-board accommodation.
