AutoCamp Joshua Tree

Call it luxury camping, a boutique-style RV camp, or whatever you want: AutoCamp’s high-luxury, high-design hospitality is a vision of the future of outdoor and adventure travel. AutoCamp Joshua Tree combines both Airstream trailers and permanent suites, and the two differ less than you might think — the latter are stylish and minimalist, somewhat utilitarian but still plenty comfortable, while the former pack more luxury than you might imagine can be squeezed into a mobile home, including walk-in rain showers and kitchenettes.

At the heart of it all is the Clubhouse, a distinctive Quonset-style structure whose interiors display a distinct mid-century modern inspiration. Inside, the hotel’s General Store sells beer, wine, and snacks, while the Kitchen offers prepared meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as Grill Kits and s’mores ingredients for guests who prefer to use the outdoor firepits. A heated pool rounds out the on-site offerings, providing a respite from the summer sun (as well as heating for the cooler months). The location, as remote as it may feel, is right at the edge of town, meaning a supply run is always an option — and the park itself is less than ten minutes away.
