Open in the evening, the gourmet restaurant at the exclusive Kempinski hotel offers an elegant tribute to the famous Italian actress Sophia Loren, whose unique beauty was as Mediterranean in style as the flavours that inspire the cuisine served here. Influences from Istria, Italy and even France combine harmoniously on a menu that focuses mainly on fish and seafood from the Adriatic (don’t miss the shellfish), although a few carefully selected, top-quality meat dishes and truffle specialities also feature. The turbot steak with prawns, leek and chive-flavoured extra-virgin olive oil is superb.
