Set just outside the city centre, it has a charming, understated feel and the stunning photos on the walls will draw your eye. Modern, flavour-led dishes change with the seasons are cooked with care and flair, covering everything from duck dumplings to superb guinea fowl accompanied by some of the best chips around; pleasingly, they also won’t break the bank. The delicious homemade bread is a must and friendly service rounds out the whole experience.
