The Lucien Arkas wine estate is well worth a visit. Take the time to stroll among the vines – it is utterly romantic, especially with someone special by your side. That same atmosphere carries through to the restaurant whether you dine outdoors against the backdrop of the vineyards or indoors with a view of the wine cellar (bottles are available for purchase at the entrance). Beautifully simple in their presentation, the chef's Mediterranean dishes perfectly complement the quality wines produced here. Think charcoal-grilled leg of lamb with a robust mustard-spiked jus and, to finish, a wonderfully sweet strawberry magnolia . Honest flavours lead the way, both in the glass and on the plate.
