The Bolka family continues with their long-established tradition of hospitality in this authentic and welcoming restaurant that immediately warms the heart. The skilfully updated cuisine combines local recipes with a contemporary twist, as demonstrated by dishes such as trout tartare served with sweet and sour ginger, trout roe and a Bernese foam sauce. The menu changes with the seasons and showcases local ingredients such as Krškopolje pork, Carnolian sausage and locally farmed trout. The wine list has the same regional focus, with almost every Slovenian wine available by the glass.

"Most of the ingredients are local, traceable, and sourced from sustainable agriculture, with suppliers including organic fish farms, organic farms, and local mills. One of the most successful initiatives is the Self Supply House "Pantry" behind the restaurant, where customers can order and collect organic products from local producers. The offering has also expanded with the eco-glamping facilities at Eko Glamping Resort Krištof in Cerklje na Gorenjskem."
