A wind of revival is blowing through this venerable institution, which has changed hands but not name and is still located in a quiet street near Place Gambetta. The handsome sandstone façade now ushers guests into the lair of a youthful couple, cheerful Kéveena, in the front of house and Ismaël who gives free rein to his solid background in the kitchen. Modern, tasty dishes which mainly star ingredients from southwest France, jazzed up with the odd creative twist, like a grilled duck magret, punchy gravy and Japanese-style lacquered aubergine sprinkled in puffed rice.
