Rocabella Mykonos
The hotel’s design mimics the look and feel of a Greek village, with winding staircases and cool, shadowy pathways leading through the hillside property and opening onto sun-dappled stone terraces overlooking the sea. Housed in low-lying white buildings, rooms and suites embody a modern Cycladic aesthetic, outfitted in bright whites, earth tones, and natural materials like wood, stone, and straw. Nearly all feature ocean views, and many come with private outdoor plunge pools, but even the simplest room option has a private outdoor patio. Amenities like Nespresso machines, stocked minibars, Marshall speakers, fluffy bathrobes, and organic bath products are standard.
A focal point of Rocabella Mykonos is the pool, surrounded by shaded white daybeds partially submerged in turquoise water, and its picturesque pool bar. An à la carte breakfast is served poolside, as are cocktails and Greek small plates throughout the day. A brand-new fitness center and yoga pavilion, both glass-encased and facing the sea, are spacious and state-of-the-art, and a spa offers a range of massages. Agios Stefanos Beach is just a short walk down the hill. It’s also possible to reach the ferry port, if not the town, on foot: luckily, the hotel offers free shuttle service until midnight.
