“A casa di Nino” is not merely an evocative name but a promise fulfilled: guests truly do enter the home of chef Di Costanzo, set among the hills of a quiet residential area of the island. Beyond the threshold, a path through the garden – tended with great care and dominated by Mediterranean scrub – captivates with its richness of plants and flowers; it is here, on milder evenings, that aperitifs and after-dinner drinks are enjoyed, in a setting of rare charm. Inside, beneath a typical vaulted ceiling, just a handful of tables ensure an intimate and personal experience, while those wishing to observe the kitchen up close may take a seat facing the stove, watching the chef at work. The dishes are notable for their complexity, technical rigour and inventiveness: the expression of a conceptual cuisine capable of surprising even on a visual level.
