Ideally located midway between Bolzano and the Swiss Alps, Presulis Hideaway Apartments & Restaurant is peaceful, sophisticated, and surrounded by beautiful landscapes — just what you’d want on a getaway to Italy’s South Tyrol. It’s the passion project of a local couple who turned an old farmhouse into an elegant boutique hotel focused on the art of “lo struscio,” or slow living. There’s easy access to hiking and skiing, and it’s a pleasure returning to the alpine chalet with its sunny gardens, an infinity pool heated year-round, and a restaurant with panoramic views of nearby Prösels Castle. Pale wood-lined rooms are more like apartments, with well-equipped kitchens, living rooms, and private patios, many facing the Dolomites.
