It’s a classic both inside and out — a Regency mansion now divided into 93 rooms and suites in a 19th-century style, each one visually unique but all outfitted with subtly high-tech comforts. All rooms are attended by round-the-clock butler service as well, which is true of no other London hotel. Meanwhile the public spaces are, if anything, even more impressive, from the extravagant Lanesborough Club & Spa to a selection of restaurants and bars, led by the elegantly domed Lanesborough Grill. Keep an eye out for the hotel cat, Lilibet, a Siberian named for the late Queen.
