It’s more than a century old, but effortlessly displays elements from every era of its life; the garden restaurant is pure rustic 1890s, while the rooms and suites are contemporary, though still chalet-influenced. With three pools, a spa, and a handful of dining and drinking venues, it earns that Grand designation and then some — and between the lake and the mountains, there’s no shortage of adventure to be found.
