Fabrika Tbilisi
The building, a Soviet-era textile factory, is a utilitarian concrete structure, and the exterior has been left more or less alone, graffiti and all. It’s in the interior that the architects earned their pay, transforming a drab space into something vibrant and welcoming. Many of the rooms are hostel-style dorm rooms, while others are more typical private hotel rooms. Either way they’re stylish, sparse but well-composed, and while you won’t mistake them for seven-star hyper-luxury, they’re more than comfortable enough. Breakfast is a particular strength, as is the plentiful lounge space, from the lobby to the courtyard to the rooftop, ideal for mingling over coffee or drinks. And Fabrika’s location places you in the heart of Tbilisi, a city whose secrets your hosts are only too happy to share.

Hipster hotel with a lively evening scene.

Environment and common areas

Very cool hostel-style hotel for younger travelers. The courtyard is one of the top social spots in Tbilisi, and so there is a cool mix of locals & tourists. Breakfast is excellent.

It’s a hotel and hostel with shops, bars and shared work space making it lively, busy and cool
