In the hills of Langhe, surrounded by the Barolo, Barbaresco, and Alta Langa wine regions, Casa di Langa shows that Piedmont is more than capable of giving Tuscany’s landscapes a run for their money. The experience, however, is beautifully localized, beginning with a building that consciously echoes the region’s traditional architecture. It’s a full-on resort experience, but a modestly sized one, just 39 handsome rooms and suites. This means an outdoor pool, a full-featured spa, and a wealth of experiences relating to food and wine — from the fine-dining Faulà Ristorante and the stylish Sorì Cocktail Bar to cooking classes, truffle hunts, and tastings in the Casa di Langa’s Wine Academy.
