Coco-Mat is best known for their mattresses, so it’s a good bet that you’ll sleep soundly at Coco-Mat Eco Residences, on the less-traveled Greek island of Serifos. It’s made from a cluster of miners’ houses that date back to 1910, overlooking an idyllic beach and a protected bay. The interiors meld seamlessly with the inherited textures of the old buildings, but are stylish in a way that shows the influence of contemporary design. And the “Lounge Bar” is more than it sounds — it’s the venue not only for cocktails with a view but for breakfast and dinner as well.
