Set in the Palmeraïe, the vast palm grove that serves as the tranquil alternative to Marrakech’s busy medina, Palais Ronsard makes the most of its generously sized spaces. The style is classic through and through, the interiors by Gil Dez complementing the palace’s grand colonial style.
This is true not just in the public spaces but in the rooms and suites as well, from the entry-level (but still palatial) Prestige Rooms on up to the Grand Pavillions, with their private gardens and pools. The Spa Ronsard marries the Moroccan hammam tradition with modern treatments and Sothys products; two restaurants, the gastronomic Jardin d’Hiver and the al fresco Le Verger du Poète, are joined by an elegant cocktail bar and the daytime Pool House.
