Take a team of talented Turkish creatives and put them to work designing hotels in some of the most beautiful destinations around the country. That’s the idea behind The Stay, an art-forward, sustainability-focused line of boutique hotels, including a bohemian-chic retreat on the secluded northern shore of the Bodrum Peninsula.
Architect Mahmut Anlar took inspiration from the landscape in his plans for Bobo by The Stay: rooms and suites are cylindrical in shape, their floor-to-ceiling windows curving around views of olive groves and Cennet Bay. Featuring poured concrete flooring and custom furnishings, they’re modern and sleek, with little to distract from the lush surroundings. In addition to a spa and a trio of upscale eateries, the hotel has a private beach club, Bobo Beach, and hosts a rotating lineup of concerts and art events.
