An hour’s drive from Bordeaux on the Atlantic coast is Pyla-sur-Mer, home to a well-known family-run hotel whose renovations have ensured it stays relevant for a new generation of travelers. Interior designer Bambi Sloan preserved the neo-Basque façade and turned the interiors into a vintage-inspired fantasy, one that wears its modern electronics and comforts lightly.
