Sometimes a hotelier can profit from offering an unconventional perspective on a city, an angle that emphasizes its setting’s subtler charms. The rooms and suites are state-of-the-art, efficiently laid out and shockingly quiet, and thanks to the hotel’s extraordinary location many of them offer views of the Louvre, the Comédie Française, the Avenue de l’Opéra, and at the high end even the Palais-Royal.

The Brasserie du Louvre features modern-classic French fare, developed under the guidance of legendary chef Paul Bocuse, as well as a terrace facing the Louvre, and the Officine du Louvre, the hotel’s bar, sits under a spectacular glass roof.
