Hotel Lilien
Its rooms, naturally, are all different; some are original, others later additions, but all share the Lilien’s warm, organic style. There’s no TV in the rooms, and that’s a conscious choice; guests are invited to socialize over a plated European breakfast accompanied by impeccably sourced pastries and coffee, and in a bar and lounge that serves a full dinner menu alongside a well-chosen selection of wines, local beers, and seasonal cocktails. Meanwhile the outdoor offerings include a swimming pool and a fire pit, as well as hiking at Kaaterskill Falls, mere minutes away.

Had a great 4-day stay at the Hotel Lilien. I'm not a big reviewer. It's a cool, beautiful restored property, with a great mix of rustic and modern design. We were in the area for a few days of skiiing. The hotel is only a 5 minute drive to the mountain. The staff could not have been nicer, friendlier, and helpful, including being very understanding when a skiing injury with one of our family members caused us to have to check out past the checkout deadline (they were very gracious and helped us pack up). Room was great - clean, cozy, comfortable, and cool. An added bonus of the hotel is there is a very solid restaurant about 100 yards away, Nat's, that we went to a few times (the hotel also has a restaurant/bar that looked great). We hope/plan to stay at the Lilien again on our next visit to the area. I highly recommend this place

The ambience here was amazing. Very cozy and homey feeling with great design. The staff were very friendly. I would stay here again 100%.

The hotel is in a beautiful location and it has large and comfortable common space. We had great drinks at the bar and enjoyed the breakfast. Our room was spacious, clean and well designed. The staff was friendly.

This is one of my favorite hotels in the Catskills, and one of the first I recommend to anyone looking to go upstate. I've always liked Tannersville, but I never found a place to stay here before that felt both upscale and well designed. I usually camp when I'm here, but it was such a treat to stay somewhere nice and still be able to hit the trails. My dog and I stayed in one of the pet friendly deck rooms, which was plenty quiet and comfortable — and we loved walking the grounds around the pool. I ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant — a great vibe that felt like a more relaxed version of something you'd find in the city. You could sit wherever you want — a table or a couch by the fireplace, or the wraparound porch outside. It felt homey in that way the Catskills should, but with a hip and contemporary design that made it feel like a destination. I found the staff too to be extremely accommodating, walking me to my room and making sure I had everything I needed. One of the owners was working the restaurant when I had dinner and I loved picking his brain about what brought them here. A great addition to the Catskills, I'll definitely return!
