MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View
The menu at Marzapane now bears the signature of both Capuzzo Dolcetta and Chiarapini: these two chefs at the helm here are working together to develop the unique and distinctive cuisine on offer at this restaurant, which reopened in 2021 at new premises just a stone’s throw from Piazza del Popolo. Beautifully cooked dishes full of flavour, which often highlight the use of “poor” ingredients and direct cooking, plus a barbecue grill brought in from Sicily to help bring the full flavour of grilled dishes centre stage.
