Market Kitchen offers more manageable, rustic plates with a heavy focus on organic produce, while Baobab Bar’s resident mixologist prepares daily cocktail specials under its namesake tree.
Personal concierges come standard-issue with most beach resorts, but here it’s honed to an art form: Navigators, they’re called, nodding to the island’s history as a trade hub, and they’re indispensable. They’ll easily handle anything from an in-depth AFRICOLOGY treatment regime at the spa to the purchasing process for on-site artworks that catch your eye, let alone excursions — volcano tours, guided safaris, reef dives — around the rest of the island.
