Most of what we said about the Address Downtown is also true of the Address Boulevard Dubai; it, too, is adjacent to the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall, but on the other side. (It’s such a desirable location for a hotel they had to build it twice.) It’s housed in a skyscraper that’s impressively monumental, even next to its preposterously tall neighbor. And while you wouldn’t exactly call it minimalistic, it’s quite understated, especially by local standards — it takes its stylistic cues from Art Deco and the softer side of modernism, and the result is remarkably elegant.
Tasteful décor, of course, doesn’t stop the rooms and suites from being genuinely extravagant in their comforts, which include Nespresso machines, lavish marble bathrooms and balconies that overlook one of the world’s most unique skylines. Even the humblest rooms span some 47 square meters, and once you’re in the suites you’re looking at double or even triple that figure.
Equally expansive are the hotel’s spa and fitness facilities, to say nothing of its split-level pool, complete with swim-up bar on its adults-only level. And in something of a departure from the theme, there’s not five or ten restaurants but just one: The Restaurant does a creditable job of being all things to all people, all day long. If you’re craving variety, after all, you’re connected by a covered walkway to the Dubai Mall, which boasts an astonishing diversity of options.
