Settings in San Juan don’t get much more spectacular than Condado Beach, and the Condado Ocean Club looks straight out to sea from a prime beachfront location. This is a thoroughly modern luxury resort, and in its white-on-white color scheme it feels a world apart from nearby Old San Juan. With 97 rooms and suites it’s in that sweet spot between a boutique and a big resort; it can summon a pretty lively party but never feels overwhelming.
