The location of this hotel is magnificent. Three long and secluded beaches to walk, jog or watch sunrise or sunset from. One smaller spectacular secluded beach where we spent two entire days savoring our picnic and reading our wonderful books on chaises under our umbrellas. But this does not even begin to capture the beauty of the entire reserve: lagoons, estuaries, turtle hatching site, birdwatching paradise, immaculate organic fruit and vegetable garden, splendid plant nursery and kind and dedicated workers and staff.
What a magical place. If you expect shiny 5 star luxury with all newest updates- please, don’t come here. Because what you get is the luxury of incredible SPACE, wind, ocean, and personalized attention in the most beautiful, colorful yet calming surroundings possible. Enjoy the sunset walks all by yourself, listening to the waves while eating your turndown-cookie, and enjoy their freshly prepared food (always made to your liking) whereever and whenever you want it — on your terrace, the private beach, or the breathtaking outlook over the ocean. We will be back.

Las Alamandas is paradise on earth. It was the perfect combination of luxury and simplicity. My wife and I stayed for five days celebrating her birthday. As Tablet Plus members, we were automatically upgraded to a beautiful oceanfront room. The sounds of the waves breaking just yards away was soothing to the soul. Breakfast on our terrace each morning while looking out over the ocean and the lush manicured property was a refreshing delight. The staff was beyond accommodating, and Pancho, one of the waiters, was the absolute best. From having a private beach to ourselves for an afternoon to the private dinner in the oceanside palapa, this was a dream vacation. We will be back!
