Some of the finest Pinot Noirs in France are produced in Burgundy’s Côte d'Or vineyards. And for many years, an old printing house in the village of Beaune manufactured the bottles’ labels. The building has been smartly transformed into a family-run boutique hotel with five calm, light-filled suites. Each is unique, but all of them have a cool industrial look, with concrete and black lacquer warmed up by natural wood furnishings, framed vintage photos, and the glow of studio lamps. Standard in-room features include king-sized beds with Linvosges linens, organic bath products, writing desks, and cozy lounge spaces. There are plenty of stylish common spaces throughout the hotel, too, including a quiet interior courtyard where you can sip a glass of locally produced Chablis while planning your explorations of the surrounding wine country.
