It’s not just the stunning photography on the walls that sets this restaurant apart; it’s the detail in the design of every element of the four-storey house that makes it such a handsome spot. You can eat in the discreet ground-floor dining room or upstairs at a small counter looking into the kitchen – just be sure to pay a visit to the impressive wine cellar. One of the partners owns 1,100 acres of farmland in Northamptonshire, which provides beef, game, vegetables and more for the menu of ornately presented dishes with a subtle Sir Lankan touch.
