The name, which translates as “chilli pepper” in Peruvian Spanish and “taste” in Japanese, gives us a good insight into the culinary intentions of this restaurant. The cuisine here, which is very focused on its tasting menu (a lunchtime menu is also available midweek), champions Japanese cuisine that is delicious and full of well-defined textures. Don’t miss the spicy scallops or any of the ceviches (Clásico, Nikkei, or Carretillero – a seafood ceviche with a yellow chilli pepper-flavoured tiger’s milk and fried calamari).
