Boasting a splendid location overlooking the sea, this gourmet restaurant is part of the Capo La Gala hotel. Head down to the seafront from the hotel entrance (lift available) to the restaurant, where the romantic lapping of the waves and a spectacular view (especially at sunset) accompany your meal, along with impeccable service overseen by the skilful Giulia Tavolaro. Chef Emmanuel Scotti, from Ischia, serves various tasting menus of meat and fish, with the option of choosing courses à la carte style. His cuisine focuses on local recipes and ingredients, giving them a modern twist with the occasional international influence, as demonstrated by the raw marinated amberjack – a softer, Mediterranean version of ceviche. For simpler, more traditional cuisine, try La Taverna Nerea.
