It’s not the most prominent hotel in the city, but its location is one of Bvlgari Hotel Milano’s great strengths. It’s set on an acre of gardens, at the end of a private street between the Quadrilatero della Moda and the Brera — discreetly sequestered, but close by to the heart of Milan. Its design, by Antonio Citterio & Partners, is the last word in contemporary Italian luxury. And the experience is an unforgettable one, worthy of being the first hotel to bear the Bvlgari name.
The rooms and suites are crafted from rare materials that show a jeweler’s attention to detail: teak, oak, linen, Zimbabwe granite and Navona travertine. The spaces start out large enough, at 35 square meters, and quickly expand — the flagship Bvlgari Suite spans 160 square meters, and opens onto a private rooftop garden.
No less impressive are the public spaces, from the Bvlgari Bar, taking in a view of the garden through soaring double-height windows, to Il Ristorante - Niko Romito, whose dining room might be one of the city’s most glamorous. Meanwhile the spa, with its mosaic-tile swimming pool, is as easy on the eyes as it is the other senses.
The hotel is practically within a bejeweled arm’s length of some of Milan’s finest retailers and boutiques; its Brera location makes for easy access to the Golden Quadrangle, with Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace and Armani, among others, all gathered together in one place.
Please note: Bvlgari Hotel Milano does not allow children 16 years old or under in the spa or pool area.
