Bib Gourmand: good quality, good value cooking
Set in a small village in the Bocage Charolais, this is the first restaurant opened by Jeanne-Louise and Kevin (J+K). Together, the pair create cuisine that is very much in tune with the times, incorporating plenty of vegetables as well as occasional nods to Italy (the chef's homeland). The ingredients are meticulously selected: take, for example, the pollack loin fillet with spring vegetables, or the kiwi, strawberry and blackcurrant tartare. Every evening and on weekends, the chefs serve a single multi-course set menu.
