In the medieval village of Nernier on the banks of Lake Geneva between Yvoire and Messery, this charming country inn is warm and hospitable. Rustic (rafters, terracotta tiles) and contemporary features (pendant lights, designer chairs) rub shoulders in a match made in heaven. The market-fresh menu errs towards the traditional, whilst demonstrating the utmost reverence for the seasons. The smiling and attentive service is courtesy of the chef's partner, while the paved terrace is everything one expects of rural villagey France.
